Valentina Castellar a First Generation Colombian immigrant moved to Florida at the age of 4. She graduated 12th out of 300 in her high school class and is currently attending the University of Richmond. Majoring in:

• Business Administration

  •  Concentration in International Business 

  • Concentration in Management Consulting

Valentina is taking every opportunity to explore the areas that are of great interest to her.

​

She is a native Spanish Speaker and her love of languages has led her to study Korean for over 5 years; reaching a level of proficiency allowing her to freely converse and ignore subtitles when watching Korean television. Valentina has a passion for helping her community in Richmond flourish and has taken leadership roles as a mentor at the Scholars’ for Latino Initiative, a Peer Ambassador for the Robins School of Business “Societal Impact” Endeavor program, and as a Diversity Ambassador for the University of Richmond Admissions office. 

 

Valentina also has experience in marketing, digital design, and project-based market research.

She is skilled in using:

• Microsoft Office certified

• SAS Analytics

Valentina’s deep love for Music, Entrepreneurship, and Global Issues has led her to pursue a career in International based work.

Connecting her Latinx background and culture to American Markets and beyond.

Valentina has led fan-made projects for various K-pop groups creating, printing, and distributing the TXT Orlando concert fan banners. She is currently a semi-finalist for the BTS Map of the Soul Orlando Concert Fan Banner Project (proposal canceled due to Covid-19); the winning team’s banner will be printed and distributed to over 60,000 concert attendees. She has also managed a fan base for K-pop Idol group TXT, delivering information to over 13.6k followers. She is continuously expanding her skill set and working as a Social Media Manager for WISER a non-profit women’s research institute.
